Are they upset because the Obama bailouts worked and now GM & Chrysler are hugely profitable again and paying back their bailout money?

If GM tops Toyota, then I have this to say...all it took was $80 billion taxpayer dollars ($14b of which we won't get back) and an earthquake (which had a SEVERE impact on Japan's auto production). While we don't really know which one made the greatest difference, I think I can make an assumption...and will stick with Toyota.

It's always funny to see how Democrats go from hating corporations to loving them to hating them again as the situation changes. I thought Republicans were evil for wanting to give money to big corporations. Now when Democrats do it and cause the corporations to succeed that is a good thing.

Probably because the evolution of business should have taken place and it didn't. Poor companies SHOULD fail so that the smaller well run companies can grow and take their place. It's competition.

By bailing them out, it's basically a huge F-YOU to the small companies that didn't fail.
