I am either looking for an 04 Audi S4 6-speed Manual or an 05 Jeep Grand Cherokee(4.7 or 5.7) 4x4.

I am 6'5 but I really would enjoy a sports car, but since i am so tall i would really need an SUV or truck. That is why i like the audi is because it is a 4-door with a manual transmission.

I would like an Answer with logical answers.

i know all of the engine specs on the vehicles and i currently drive a '99 tahoe that gets 11mpg so anything better would be better.

If you have a better suggestion that would be wonderful, but please note that i would have to have a v8 car. No Honda,Toyota, etc.

test drive them both and see which one you fit into better. I'm' thinking the car would get better gas mileage than any 4 wheel drive

Both cars which you have mentioned here completely different with each other.
Car buying can be tough and i can imagine that very well.

First try and check your need, Only height cannot be factor there are over a dozen cars which can easily fit you in. Try what you are exactly looking for ..you wanna a Sedan/SUV or only a sports car.

Let me give you all options.

American Car.
- Try the new Ford Shelby the latest model with V8 and a 6.2 L engine is just awsum and you can fit in there easily.

- Or try the new Dodge Charger 2012 model , They have completely change the engine and also the outlook , but it still has that manly look.

European car.

- Mercedes - G Class, If you have a good budget then this is an excellent car ,It has a very storng V8 engine which generate upto 382 BHP
- Volvo XC -90 although its not very powerfull but still its a good option.
- VV- Toureg - Its a nice decent car.


As you mentioned you are not looking for japenes car,
But Toyoto FJ Cruiser is worth giving a look.

If you "need an SUV or truck" and a V8 engine why then are you looking at the compact Audi S4. It's the size of a Corolla and it has a 4 cyl engine.

You have to be the one to decide if you want a sporty car or a SUV, I can't do that for you. Those vehicles are so completely opposites that decision has to be yours.

If you want an SUV the Grand Cherokee is a good choice. If you want a sporty sedan for your large frame why not look at the larger Audi S6 or a Ford Taurus SHO or even the Dodge Charger R/T.

S4's are one of my dream cars. You should definitely get yourself into one of those and not think twice about it,
