Which car sounds better? (video included)?

Postby tricia » Sat Jan 14, 2012 6:10 am

This is a video I took of an Aston Martin DBS and an Aston Martin V8 Vantage revving. I think they both sound pretty nice but I like the DBS's engine sound better. What about you?

Oh and feel free to comment on the video and rate it. I will reply to any of your questions.

let me put it to you in the nicest way possible...they both sound like s*** period the end. all foreign cars sound exactly the same and that's like s***. no better way 2 put it. you want a vehicle that sounds nice? take a 68 charger r/t with a 426. there's a nice sounding car. or a ford pickup with a 428cj crate engine dropped in it with a .610 cam in it running on cam 2 that's straight pipped out. there's a beast for you. if you want a vehicle that sounds nice you better not be able to hear yourself talking when you're going down the highway. oh or get yourself a ram 2500 with a ctd that's been extremely built and chipped up like no other with a turbo the size of texas in it and 7" stacks. that'll blow the doors of them wothless pieces of foreign junk in that video. so yea they sound terrible and the same as every other foreign car ever made. if you live in america stick to american vehicles. and if you don't have american vehicles shipped to you. they sound a hell of a lot better than anything else.

I cant tell which is revving.. but the one with the deeper tone sounds much better until it gets that raspy bees in a can sound.

I'm not a big fan of DOHC engine noise.. I prefer the pushrod growl over the DOHC scream. Although I do love the looks of Aston Martins.

Give me an Aston that sounds like this and I would be a happy man.
