the"t" spark is the older engine that ranged from 1,.6 - 2.0 it uses 2 spark plugs per cylinder and has variable valve timing.

the jts is i believe a gm block with an alfa head that has variable valve timing and also uses direct petrol injection and only comes as a 2.0

the major difference is the injection system, they are both Fiat blocks, and both have twin plugs .
The "j" stands for jetronic

The JTS has about 10 bhp more.

only the newer 159 uses the GM block.
