its not the oil that should matter, lexus uses castrol syntec 5w30 synthetic blend. an average quart of synthetic oil cost around $10-$15 per quart and the average car takes about 4-6 quarts. so thats anywhere from $40- $75 roughly. they also replace the oil filter which is another $30-$40. mainly when you pay for service you're paying for the labor. it's not that hard to change the oil in a car.

i change my own oil and i would advise you to do the same.

Sounds way high Probably uses 4 to 5Q at $10.00 a qt. oil filter same as toyota not more than $10. so you're way overpaying. You could buy your own oil & filter at walmart and get changed at a fast oil change place cheaper. I drive a Vette holds 7qts syn. mobil1 and oil filter also take to dealer and never costs over $80.00, plus they check everything else too. Had my own shop, now retired and 70yr.old. But sounds like you're being screwed over, after all it's just an expensive Toyota. Next time price at Toyota dealer and see what they charge if you don't wish to run around or do yourself.
