According to the Muslim tradition a Muslim women MUST marry a muslim man. It's like in the Quran or something. If you're not muslim there's a chance her family will never ever ever approve. Also Muslim women aren't as submissive as you think. In fact, they are very out spoken in the house hold. Also the Quran says nothing about the women having to do anything but be taken care of. She doesn't even have to bare children or clean the house. On top of that nothing you can do will make her convert, if she is a good Muslim women. Why would you want to have a Muslim woman lose her faith. Chances are, if she gives up Islam, she'll give up that "obedience" you want. If she doesn't believe in the Qu'ran, then she doesn't believe she has to obey her husband. Then you'll just have a ragged woman running wild.
