1. Koenigsegg CCX
2. Bugatti Veyron
3. McLaren F1
One thing to clear up:
The CCX is NOT the fastest. The Veyron is. And quad-turbo W16 > BMW-engineered V12.
Why the CCX is first: It may not be the fastest in a straight line, but this leaves the other two both for dead on the twisties. Looks the coolest (vertical doors ftw), and here's the real kicker: it's Swedish-built. And for those who don't know, Sweden is also where they build Volvos. Now THERE'S a twist!
Why the Veyron is second: It's only just 2nd. Have you heard that W16? Like, one 4L V8 is beautiful, but two of them, with 4 turbos strapped to it is pure heaven to listen to. Look for The Stig's lap with the Veyron on the Top Gear test track and you'll hear what I mean. It's the fastest here, with a top speed of 257mph, whereas the CCX, 2nd fastest, has a top speed of 245mph.
Why the McLaren is last: Well its legendary to be sure, but in this day and age its only real redeeming factor is that it's worth a LOT of money (Twice as much as the Veyron, which is already quite expensive at over 1 million dollars). The gullwing doors are cool, but really it's the ugliest here (or weirdest-looking, whatever your taste may be), is the slowest (And it was only 1mph slower than the CCR. The CCX is quite a bit quicker), and it's the most barren (it has absolutely no features whatsoever, which to purists may seem like heaven, but considering how much you get in the Veyron, it doesn't really help its case).
