How do you change spark plug wires on my outboard?

I have a 76'-77' Chrysler 6hp. I took off the wires to get the spark plugs out so I could spray some fogging oil where the plugs go to store it for the winter, well the top one came off fine then I went to take the bottom one off and the wire seemed to be rusted to the plug so the spring inside the wire kinda got pulled out. Do I have to change the wire or do you think it might still be good? And if so how do I go about changing it?

As old as they are change them. Some auto parts stores sell wire by the foot and the connectors separately. This way you wouldn't have a lot of wires left over.Mark the place the old wires go and take them with you. They might make them up for you on the spot.
