It seems all of a sudden, my key won't turn right away in the ignition. I used wd40, and turn the wheel, but really doesn't help. After several attempts of turning, I get lucky and it starts up. Is this expensive to fix? What is the cause? Will it make it worse if I wait a month to repair it? Thanks

It sounds like your key is getting worn out.Putting WD40 in it was a mistake.It will attract dirt and gum up the lock worse.You should have used a dry lube like graphite.If you have a spare key try that.If it works better then get another key cut from the good one.If it doesn't help your probably going to need a new lock cylinder.
