there is no noise at all when i push the switch to push it forward and backward...

It could be the switch, or the motor. You really need to have the wiring tested by someone who
knows what they are doing. A reputable mechanic.

Good Luck on your seat...

There is wiring under the seat and with a bright flashlight you can always take a peek and
see if you might have one hanging down....( just a thought ) ....
