Car goes into gear without clutch or grinding, but car wont drive?

i have a 2001 audi s4 6 speed manual. i went to drive it the other day but when i went to put it into gear it just fell into 1st without grinding or tension or anything. it does this to every gear without pressing the clutch but no matter how much gas i give it, it doesnt move. really stuck and havent been able to find any info out. any ideas? everything things helpful. thanks for reading!

Couple of possibilities, either a blown clutch or a broken driveline.
Get under the car and look at the driveline.
If it's loose from the transmission, the front universal joint is broken.
If it's not the drive line, the clutch needs to be replaced.

If the car has a hydraulic clutch , it might stuck in the disengage position.
