I'm a 17-year-old girl who's only been driving about a year. My father services my car, so I really don't know much about the mechanics of it. I would appreciate if you wouldn't make fun of my ignorance.
My hubcap came off (I wasn't even speeding! I went over a man-hole at 30mph!) while I was driving. Hubcaps are looking to be about 20-40 dollars which is a little more than I'd like. BUT if I were to go find my hubcap (assuming it's still there- I couldn't stop at the time because there was no place to pull over) could I reattach it?
If it helps- I have a '96 Buick Century.

Sounds like you're low on hubcap fluid. This isn't a serious condition, especially on a solid car like a Buick...but you'll want to talk to your dad, or a certified mechanic about it. Make sure they top off your turn signal fluid while you're at it!

Sure - hubcaps are held on by metal clips, they are designed to snap on and off.
If you find it, you may need to use a rubber mallet to tap it on, or sit on the ground and use the heels of your shoes to press it on.
