The dash speakers are wired in parallel with the door speakers, but the factory dash speaker is just a tweeter and has its own in-line passive crossover. This is a pretty common OEM setup, and doesn't usually cause an impedance problem. However, if you replace the dash speaker with a full-range 4x6" speaker, and install a new 6-1/2" speaker in the door, then you'll be presenting a 2-ohm load to the new head unit and might run into trouble.
