I just turned 17, and got my license in the u.s. My parents are being pretty cool and I have about 22k to spend. I looked at. 2008 BMW 328i because its cool,safe, and surprisingly cheap however my mom thinks repair is too much.. But also I thought about a Honda accord ex-l ..

What does ex-l stand for?
Any other car suggestions? ( I'm a 17 year old guy I want I too be cool?

I'm also 17 and have my license. Just because you have 22k to spend, doesn't mean you should go out and buy a brand new car. If you have a car, you'll be cool, period. Don't go out and buy a new car for many reasons such as: you just got your license and you aren't that experienced. Accidents always happen, and if anything did happen that would cost a lot to fix. Newer cars are very expensive to fix, and you also need to think about gas. Think about cars that are super on gas. Start off with a used car, or not such an expensive car like a new Honda Accord or BMW. In the end, you'll be happy just to have a car. Hope this helped!
